Starting early

There’s a part of me that wants to wait until Jan 1 to start the Polariod Project. But the impatient part of me won today. You see, I want to take Polariods of my family to include as part of the Polariod project. So I need to start early so I can get some of them done while I am in Iowa. So this afternoon while we were at a rest stop just south of Coriscana, Texas, – I started.

The first batch of pictures won’t be posted until I get back to Houston, and they’ll be a part of my photoblog. But the project is off and running. A mix of new Impossible Project film and Classic Polariod film. I just wish they still made the Roll Film for the Roll Cameras. That would “complete” the whole mix of Polariod camera and films.

I like experimentation – its fun.

I can’t wait to see your photos!

  2. Glad to hear that you are feeling so gung ho about your project that you are already out of the starting gate. Must be the right thing if it’s ignited your passion so much. I look forward to seeing your Polaroid Project grow in 2011. :) ~Tui

I don’t know how to do a polaroid project but it sounds cool! Can you still get the cameras and film?!

It’s amazing how cheaply you can pick up the cameras at a junk store. You can also get some of the film through The Impossible Project. Plus they have new film that they are producing. :D I can’t wait to get back to Houston to scan the polariods in :D
