10 Things You Don’t Know About Me

  1. I’m my mother’s first child and my father’s middle child.
  2. I was married once.
  3. My current relationship has lasted longer than all my other relationships combined.
  4. I was an archaeologist at one time. Contrary to popular belief it is not like Indiana Jones. I did however get to work with some neat cool artifacts in the American Southwest.
  5. I’ve been writing since middle school. It’s always been there.
  6. I started with photography when I was in high school
  7. I can develop my own black and white film – and often do in my bathroom at home.
  8. I collect vintage cameras and those that work I use.
  9. Even though I’m left handed, I use right-handed scissors. They feel more comfortable to me
  10. If I could do anything for a year and know that I could succeed. I’d raise all of my own food including the meat and then write about it and share that experience in pictures.

    Great getting to know you better Paula. That’s so cool you can develop you own B&Ws. I want to learn how to do that. :)

      Gerri: I learned in high school when I was photography editor of the yearbook. I had a very good photography mentor in Mr. D. He encouraged me to take lots of pictures and so I did :)

    archaelogy sounds like an intriguing ‘day job’
    perhaps one day your writing and photography will help an archaelogist of the future piece together a story from the ‘past’
