It seems change is coming in multiple places in my life. The share holders approved the buyout of the company I work for and the information flow has started to accelerate as we move closer to the merger’s reality. One of the things that I cherish about my job is that many of people have become almost like family. I had one friend ask me if R was worthy of me (he is). And last week I met one of my most favorite people of the last five years for dinner. G was just as sweet and thoughtful in person as he is over the phone. I realized as I was pulling away after dinner, that some of the people who always make me smile at the office when I talk to them are not going to be there any more. Thoughts of that just makes my eyes well up. I am very blessed to work with people who are kind and compassionate about their co-workers.
Mrs. B is having some health issues and so we agreed that this year she and I will be gardening together. I’m not a fan of pesticides and herbicides. She will use them if she thinks it’s needed. I’ll need to stay ahead of the bugs and the weeds!
And I’ve realized that this and the other blogs that I have are in need of a tune-up so they make more sense and flow better. It’s time to move some content and re-arrange existing content. So expect some changes over the next few weeks.
