Have you ever tried to demo a lunge when you legs are fried??? I tried today and I just about fell over doing it. The Wide Stance Deadlifts and the Lunges really do a number on my rear end. I’m definitely seeing improvement but I have trouble walking for a day or two after I do the previously mentioned exercises. So I swapped my cardio days… I did intervals this afternooon (6 rounds) because my legs just couldn’t handle cone hops.
And now for the confession session. After looking at my stuff from yesterday in Fitday this evening, I discovered that I went over my calories during my cheat meal. I didn’t pay close enough attention to how the pizza was supposed to be divided. I did enjoy the food though.

(this sucked this morning. I’m not sure why but I just couldn’t hold it quite as long. the first set I know it was because I couldn’t get a good grip with my toes – they kept sliding on the mat).
Overall I was pretty happy with this workout. I went up on the Sumo DLs, bentover rows, DB Presses, and I did all the lunges and all the reps for the calf raises were at 85 lbs which is up from last time (mix of 75 and 85 sets.).
I didn’t get aerobics in since I have a meeting at 9. I’ll do them tonight along with mobility drills. Tonight is cheat night and the planned cheat (which must be within my calories for the day) is pizza with veggies and a bit of bacon followed by a slice a lemon cake from HEB (it’s a white cake with lemon curd between the layers. Totally delish!)

I made through 3 rounds of aerobics drills before I had to rest. Eeked out a 4th (a week off did not help these). 15 minutes on the elliptical. Mobility drills 1 round. Then I had to go so I could catch the bus. I’ll probably do more mobility stuff this evening as I work around the apartment.

Today is another lifting day. My rear hasn’t recovered from wide stance dls and lunges on Friday. Weight this morning was 252.6.
I had a special warm up for today’s stuff – I had to remove a lizard from the apartment. This is just part and parcel of Texas Living.

Overall I was pretty happy with this workout. The Lunges are killer but they are getting better. I decided to do them at Bodyweight (BW) only since I seemed to have trouble with them on the last workout. There’s some weirdness in the lifting just because I have exercise dyslexia and got some stuff swapped from Wednesday’s workout and tonights workout.

Tonight’s activity -
3.5 rounds of cardio intervals on the stairstepper (its amazing how different machines hit you in different ways) and then 30 minutes of walking. was gonna do mobility drills but I’m wiped due to PMS and just not sleeping well. I’ve been having really creepy dreams and am waking up and keeping myself up for a bit at night so I don’t go right back into the dream.
It is nice to see how the little bit of cardio is making a big difference overall. THere’s a long way to go tho…. baby steps baby steps baby steps

Not much done these days. I was off because of the knee thing. I ate around 2000 calories a day and I did another upper body on day 10 along some mobility stuff, but I can’t find the notebook I wrote it in (I think it’s in purgatory along with my missing Nano).
I did have my cheat day on day 11. That was a 2500 calorie day. R told me that he’d pay for my cheat day meals so we went to Carrabas where I enjoyed steak along with lots of carbs in the form of bread, spaghetti and vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and candied pecans. It was good but I felt pretty stuffed by the end of the meal.
